Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches about the tools, spaces, craft, foodways and gatherings that shape kitchen life. Send proposals through the Contact page rather than a finished article.
What we are looking for
Strong ideas start with a distinct question and a clear reason it matters to readers. Consider an object whose design changes how it is used, a kitchen arrangement and the choices behind it, a cooking gesture worth explaining, or a food custom that benefits from context. We favour evergreen subjects that can be treated accurately without unsupported claims or specialist instructions.
What to include
Tell us the proposed subject, the main point you want to explore, why it suits Golden Kitchen Journal and what makes your angle distinct. A brief outline and a little context about your relevant experience can help us assess the idea. Please identify any commercial interests or other relevant connections.
How to send a pitch
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, making clear that your message is a contribution proposal. Please send a pitch rather than an unsolicited full manuscript. We cannot promise publication or a particular response time, and we will discuss scope and terms before any commissioned work begins.
A kitchen tells its story in the details
We look beyond recipes to the objects, arrangements and inherited habits that shape cooking and eating at home.
